Annamalai University is a multidisciplinary university in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, built around a simple idea: that rigorous teaching and genuine care for students belong together. Across ten faculties, our programmes combine classroom fundamentals with laboratory work, field placements and studio practice — so that graduates leave able to do the work, not just describe it. Founded in 1928 by Raja Sir Annamalai Chettiar, the university has grown into a community of scholars, artists and researchers who measure success by what their students go on to build.
